According to sources, Cousins’ contract with the Beer Leopards is for ten days and four games, as reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. He should be on the team by the middle of January.

CEO of the team Johnny Chang stated in a statement, “We’re confident that with [Cousins’] all-around skills, he’ll bring a totally new chemistry to the Leopards.”

The 33-year-old cousin has not participated in NBA competition since the Denver Nuggets’ 2021–2022 campaign. The Puerto Rican professional league’s Guaynabo Mets were his most recent team to play for earlier this year.

Beginning in 2015, the 6-foot-10 Cousins was an All-Star for the Sacramento Kings and New Orleans Pelicans for four straight seasons. However, his career trajectory was hampered by a string of knee problems. Over portions of 11 NBA seasons, he has averaged 19.6 points and 10.2 rebounds with seven different clubs.
